We are looking for several Warehouse Operators to join our team specialising in Logistics for our Darlington Logistic Centre.
This is a 1-month contract working 37.5 hours per week across 3 rotational shift patterns. You must be able to commit to all the shifts below.
- Days – Monday to Friday 06:00 – 14:00
- Backs – Monday to Thursday 14:00 – 22:00 Friday 14:00 – 19:10
- Nights – Sunday to Thursday 22:00 – 06:00
Salary is £26,651.78 plus shift premium.
In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:
- Under some supervision you will follow established procedures and guidelines to receive, handle, store, perform system transactions and dispatch goods within a warehouse.
- Receive incoming goods and check for damage and discrepancies between goods and invoices.
- Accurately sort, label, store goods and arrange storage to optimise warehouse space. Pick, pack, and dispatch outgoing goods according to written or verbal requests or orders.
- Comply with HSE standards, policies, procedures & regulations.
- Follows all applicable standard work, work instruction/process documentation and established quality procedures.
- Remains flexible and performs other miscellaneous duties, as required, to meet business goals.
Qualifications
To be successful in this role you will need the following:
- Utilises warehousing tools, systems, and methodologies to meet defined metrics for inbound and outbound operations of a warehouse.
- Receive / Pick / Pack / Ship a variation of Cummins product.
- Good written/oral communication skills.
- Works well within a team
- Operate within several business unit teams.
- Full training will be provided.
