The Role
As a Sales Representative at Imperial Tobacco, you are the face of the brand at your retailers. You will be responsible for the distribution and visibility of our strategic brands and ensure that cycle activities are effectively implemented. Your goal is to increase Imperial Tobacco’s market share in the Petrol, convenience and specialty store channels. With your commercial insight and persuasiveness, you will transform customers into enthusiastic ‘Brand & ITN Ambassadors’ and build strong, lasting relationships.

Main tasks and responsibilities
- Distribution & Visibility: Ensure the presence and optimal visibility of our strategic brands with retailers through the use of POS materials and activation programs.
- Market Growth & Activations: Implement national sales cycle activities and develop tailor-made market share strategies per customer.
- Retailer Management & Partnership: Advising customers on inventory management (FIFO, optimal stock) and ensuring 99% product availability.
- Commercial Talks: Conduct strategic sales calls that highlight the win-win situation for both Imperial Tobacco and the retailer.
- Data & Quality: Ensuring that market data and customer information are entered correctly into the CRM tool.
- Training & Development: Organizing training moments and development days for store staff to increase product knowledge and sales skills.6 bullet points
Required Qualifications & Skills
- MBO/HBO working and thinking level, obtained through education or relevant work experience.
- Commercial insight and persuasiveness to enthuse and influence retailers.
- Result-oriented and entrepreneurial: You take responsibility for achieving your objectives and think in terms of opportunities.
- Analytical ability to interpret market data and convert it into commercial opportunities.
- Experience with CRM & Office tools and affinity with digital sales platforms.
- Team player & networker: You share best practices and work effectively with colleagues and customers.
