Who are we looking for?
You would like to support the teacher in providing education to students with intellectual disabilities and to students with severe multiple disabilities. You are enthusiastic, inspiring, creative and you have an open and friendly personality. You can set boundaries, are honest, clear and fair. You have an MBO diploma Teaching Assistant or equivalent. Experience in the education of pupils with intellectual disabilities is an advantage.

Our education
Our education is designed in such a way that our students will soon be able to function as independently as possible in society. By allowing our students to gain many experiences in the cognitive, practical and social-emotional areas, they can further develop into an independent individual. We believe that our students can learn all this by actively participating themselves: ‘You have to learn!’. The students learn to discover and develop their own qualities. The students are challenged, at their own level, by offering lessons and activities in situations that are recognizable to them. The independence of the students is promoted because they learn to deal with delayed attention, come up with solutions themselves and learn to work together. This stimulates and develops the qualities of the students. The curriculum is structured according to the direct instruction model.
