Uppsala University Master’s scholarships
Scholarships are available each year for fee-paying international students applying for an international Master’s programme at Uppsala University. Please note that the scholarships are highly competitive; only about 2% of those who apply are granted a scholarship. The scholarships available for application may vary from year to year.
Application period
The application for scholarships for students starting a programme in autumn 2025 is open from 16 January 2025 to 3 February 2025.
Restrictions
Students admitted to the following programmes are not eligible for a scholarship:
- Joint Nordic Master’s Programme in Environmental Law
- Master’s Programme in Biology NABiS Nordic Master in Biodiversity and Systematics
- Master’s Programme in Implementation, Transformative Learning and Sustainability
- Master’s Programme in Religion in Peace and Conflict
- Master’s Programme in Transformative Game Design
- Master’s Programme in Turkic Studies
